Given fresh air, sunshine, and movement are perhaps at an all-time low, coupled with a slightly heavy-handed nightly pour, the skin we’re facing may leave something to be desired. Rescue your reflection with a two-minute quickie makeup session at the start of each day for a much-needed mood and productivity boost. Side note: you may notice a renewed urge to “check yo’self out” in the mirror again.
The face reflects the quality of your slumber and being well-rested is better than any beauty product. In another world altogether, wherein we regularly got eight hours of sleep and weren’t cooped up indoors all day/night, perhaps a little lotion would suffice. But, in reality, some may suffer from a lack of sleep and others from dehydration, both of which leave the skin puffy and thirsty. A little support, if you will.
Keep It Simple
Following the clean routine, get a Zoom-worthy glow from start to finish in just two minutes. After all the serums, oils, and lotions, lightly apply a thin layer of Elta Tinted SPF40 Moisturizer for a base coat of color. From the top, pencil in full feathery dream brows with Arch Brow Pencil from Hourglass and finish with a few upward swipes of Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel to set the brow, followed by a light coat of Saie Mascara 101.
Working your way down, add a touch of sun with a hydrating cream blush or bronzer to the cheekbone, top of the nose, and forehead. Dab lips with HATCH Nipple + Lip and seal the deal with Sea Mineral Mist from Osea, to keep the skin hydrated and dewy. Don't be afraid to spray throughout the day to combat the dehydration drama of recycled air.
